Jose Lopez is a senior fellow at the Oliver Wyman Forum, where he leads the CEO and CFO Agenda program, and a principal in Oliver Wyman’s Government and Public Institutions and Digital practices. He directs the Forum’s flagship study of CEO decision-making and convenes CEO and CFO roundtables.

 

Over the past decade, Jose has advised senior public- and private-sector leaders across North America, Asia, and the Middle East on geopolitics, technology, and large-scale transformation, delivering work across 21 cities in nine countries. He has supported six years of G20 negotiations, helped structure a $500 million multilateral development fund with the World Bank, and shaped diplomatic roadmaps for successful bids to host the World Expo and the FIFA World Cup. A TEDx speaker and Davos panelist, he regularly facilitates high-stakes dialogues and negotiations, including for the G20 and the United Nations.

 

Jose serves on the Board of Trustees of the Modern American English School of Guatemala and on the boards of the Princeton Alumni Association of New York and WCOM 103.5 FM. Within Oliver Wyman, he has led the firm’s international affairs training, regional Wellness Committee, and Men4Change, the firm’s male allyship network supporting equal career opportunities for women.

 

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Jose was a talk radio host, a Princeton in Asia Fellow teaching at Jishou University in China, and a published behavioral science researcher. He has lived in eight countries and is a Junior Olympic gold medalist in Taekwondo. Jose holds an A.B. summa cum laude from Princeton University, where he studied psychology with a focus on behavioral economics and neuroscience.
