For corporate boards, it’s time to throw out the old playbook.

As our world is fundamentally reshaped by disruption, so, too, is the role of the board. It’s no longer just about managing risks and keeping the house in order. Boards are increasingly expected to steer the enterprise through geopolitical fragmentation, technological acceleration, economic volatility, polarization and declining trust, and other transformative forces defining our times.

These challenges will only be met through an array of experiences, perspectives, and capabilities — from board members with diverse backgrounds and ways of thinking.
